A 4-outpost network where every outpost uses all 9 cargo links as outgoing producer feeds. Zero incoming.
Same 4-outpost coverage, but each outpost reserves 1 cargo link as incoming — fewer player ferries on key routes.
Pick only the components you want to manufacture. Tool auto-includes dependencies and computes the smallest optimal network (1–4 outposts) for that subset.
Once you go past one outpost making one fancy item, planning a manufacturing network in Starfield gets ugly fast — 30 components across 3 tiers, a 9-cargo-link cap per outpost, dependency chains, an acyclic build order to bootstrap from, and resource states that don't quite match what most lists online say. I built these tools because no single existing resource ties recipes, container math, cargo topology, and resource extraction together end-to-end.
Everything is cross-verified against Inara, the Starfield Fandom Wiki, and GitHub data dumps (Adanessa/starfield-data, Jaheay/starfield-outpost-data). Outpost methodology adapted from Ilzow's Steam Community Guide; the player-ferry approach comes from u/IronDusk34's cargo-link reframing on r/NoSodiumStarfield.
